not so fast. ebay just banned linking to any website including affiliate sites. I know, I had up several form input/lead generating ads that got bumped for linking violations.at least they aren't suspending accounts yet.Take it from me, the only way you can use a classified ad is to build a mailing list and you had better hurry in getting up your campaigns, because when all of the angry former info sellers learn how to do this effectivley the party will be over once again.

I am new to this. I have set up my 'about me' but how do I grow my list through this medium?
silentjimdotcom (March 30, 2008 at 1:35 am)
Thanks for the updates. I can't wait to see how they spell out all these new policies...it's a spaghetti bowl of conflicting rules. A very fun thing to take pokes at for sure!

There will always be creative ways to operate within the rules and benefit. As long as eBay attracts customers there will be ways to grow mailing lists and sell high profit informational goods. Let's wait until they stop creating new conflicting policies and then we'll all jump in full steam ahead again!

The most powerful thing you can do with your "about me" page is to grow your mailing list! I don't sell from my about me page. |
