http://www.jrsnyderjr.com My BlogOnline social networking communities have developed into their own social movement beyond what the corporations who purchased them conceived of. The corporation's intentions are to make money but a whole new phenomenon has developed that is a social revolution. The corporations provide only the technical platform and should make money but the participants in these sites should take control of decisions about how these communities operate themselves.PLEASE RATE and LEAVE A COMMENT so I know you were here and if you are not already a subscriber please SUBSCRIBE using the orange SUBSCRIBE button or the link: http://www.youtube.com/subscri... YouTube is a platform hosting site and the direction is for "portability" of friends but there are a lot of issues revolving around that data.

I think social networking is going to move outside of corporate sites, to people having their own websites they pay for or are part of a hosting package and the networking will be more of a messenger program so your friends are more portable and not just stuck to one site or another, youtube will become just another file hosting site

I intended to do a follow up vlog sooner than I will...not too long after this I was sidelined but a minor medical problem I'm getting taken care of. I will do one after that is over, in a month or so.

It is fascinating to see how YT has evolved over the time I have been an active member. Communities and friendships do develop - as far as the user will let them. Your comments are very interesting. Will you do a follow-up vlog? - roc
