Nice short brief explanation. Or to put it another way: An affiliate is an online commissioned salesperson selling other peoples products.

Are you making good money via an affiliate program? Maybe I should word it like this: Do you think I can clear 300 dollars a week working with an affiliate program, and if so, who? I don't quite understand your question but if you're asking how is it all tracked for the affiliate and for the merchant, then the answer is "with affiliate software or an affiliate network".
